We at All4Children are committed to help communities out of poverty. We therefore focus on various community projects. One of our projects has been to support, educate and empower 16 small scale macadamia nut farmers in Chipinge located in Zimbabwe’s Eastern Highlands to improve the community’s livelihood.
The aim of the macadamia nut project was to increase incomes for the farmers and their families, and enable them to sustain themselves in the future and thereby reduce poverty within the community. The projects focused on education, knowledge sharing, technology transfer and capacity building.
Besides the building of a macadamia processing plant for the farmers, each farmer received 10 months of training and specialized education.
